Operation Community Care of WV grew out of compassion, lived experience, and a deep commitment to serve those who are struggling. Rooted in both Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia and shaped by generations of family connections to these communities, our organization was created to support individuals and families facing homelessness, food insecurity, and crisis in the places that need help the most.

Our work is personal. The inspiration behind Operation Community Care of WV comes from loved ones who endured homelessness and instability firsthand. Their experiences revealed the emotional weight and daily challenges that come with not knowing where to turn. That reality sparked a mission — not just to offer assistance, but to stand beside people who often feel overlooked, providing support with dignity and respect.
